Case study: Google Ads Management
Go Bagels
3xMonthly revenue, $50K to $150K
Go Bagels is a New York City bagel shop with two Manhattan locations, serving hand-rolled bagels, sandwiches and coffee for pickup, delivery and dine-in, plus its own rewards app on iOS and Android. When we took over their Google Ads account, it was spending $15,000 to $17,000 a month to bring in about $50,000 in monthly revenue.

The Challenge
Winning Hungry Local Searches Against Delivery Giants
What stood between Go Bagels and consistent growth when we started.
01
High spend, low return: the account was spending $15,000 to $17,000 a month on ads for roughly $50,000 in monthly revenue.
02
Competing for every breakfast and lunch search against delivery giants like Uber Eats, which dominate both the auction and customer habits.
03
Understanding real demand: what people search for, how often, and at what time of day, so budget lands in the busy morning and lunch windows.
04
Reaching the right people: customers near two Manhattan stores and inside the delivery zones, not broad New York traffic that never converts.
05
Turning first-time buyers into regulars, instead of paying to win the same customer again and again.
What We Did
A Five-Day Strategy Sprint and a Multi-Campaign Build
We started with a discovery call to understand what had gone wrong and what the owners expected from Google Ads. Once we agreed on the goals, the client gave us access to Google Ads and the connected Google tools. We then spent five full days on strategy before launching anything, because this was never going to be a single campaign. Every campaign, ad group, headline, negative keyword and setting was planned before day one.
Full account audit and discovery session with the owners to agree on goals, budgets and what success looks like.
Multi-campaign architecture with tightly themed ad groups, three ads per ad group and headline sets written for each search intent.
Performance Max for Directions and Store Visits, built to drive foot traffic and orders to both Manhattan locations.
An app install campaign on Target CPA to grow the Go Bagels rewards app, where regular discounts keep customers ordering after the first purchase.
Retargeting, branded Search and product-led Performance Max for bagels and coffee to capture high-intent demand and bring visitors back.
Negative keyword lists and a bid strategy matched to each goal: Target ROAS, Target CPA and Maximise conversion value.
Launched in June 2026 and optimised continuously every week since.

Monthly ad spend
Monthly revenue grew from about $50,000 to about $150,000 (client reported), roughly three times higher in about five months.
Monthly ad spend dropped from $15,000 to $17,000 down to about $10,000 to $11,000, so every ad dollar now works much harder.
In the last 30 days the account delivered 8,400 conversions at $1.28 each, with $130,829 in tracked conversion value on $10,768 in spend (about 12.1x).
The Directions and Store Visits campaign alone drove 7,325 conversions at $0.29 each and $117,257 in conversion value.
743 app installs in 30 days at $2.01 each with an 8.03% click-through rate, building a loyal base that keeps ordering through the app.
1.5 million impressions and 36,492 clicks at a 21.99% account-wide conversion rate.

Where things stand
Go Bagels is still with us today. The owners asked us to keep managing their Google Ads account, and Meta Ads is planned as the next phase of our work together.
