Case study: Google Ads and Shopping
LIFEART Vision
2.7xMonthly conversions, 51 to 138
LIFEART Vision is an online eyewear store selling premium replacement lenses for Ray-Ban, Oakley and other top frames, along with prescription, polarized and blue light lenses, eyeglasses, sunglasses and lenses for AI glasses and VR headsets. When they came to us, their Google Ads account had problems at every level: unreliable tracking, a cluttered campaign structure and close to $85 spent for every sale.

The Challenge
An Account Fighting Itself
What stood between LIFEART Vision and consistent growth when we started.
01
Unreliable conversion tracking, so Google's bidding was learning from incomplete purchase data and could not tell a real sale from noise.
02
A cluttered account with dozens of campaigns splitting a small budget. One campaign spent $443 in a month without a single conversion.
03
A cost of $84.71 per conversion and a return of just 1.7x on ad spend, which left almost nothing after the cost of each lens order.
04
Very specific searches: shoppers look for lenses that fit one exact frame model, so the search, the product feed and the landing page all have to match perfectly.
05
Plenty of clicks but very few sales: a 0.56% conversion rate meant most of the budget was paying for the wrong visitors.
What We Did
Fix the Foundations, Then Scale
We started by fixing what Google was learning from. Once tracking reported real purchases, we rebuilt the account into a lean structure where every campaign has one clear job, then fed it a cleaner product catalogue so ads matched what shoppers were actually searching for.
Full audit of the ad account, conversion tracking and product feed before changing a single bid.
Rebuilt conversion tracking around real purchases so Smart Bidding optimises for revenue, not clicks.
Paused and consolidated the campaigns that were burning budget, including the ones with zero conversions.
A new main Performance Max campaign on Maximise conversion value, built in May 2026 as the engine of the account.
A Shopping campaign on Target ROAS and a feed-only Performance Max with a 500% ROAS target to capture high-intent product searches profitably.
Product feed clean-up so titles and attributes name the exact brands and frame models each lens fits.
Search term reviews and negative keywords every week to keep spend on buyers, not browsers.

The conversion rate jumped from 0.56% to 3.06%: about half the clicks now produce 2.7 times the sales, because the traffic is the right traffic.
Each extra dollar added to the budget returned about $5.20 in conversion value, so growth stays profitable as spend increases.
